The creative ecosystem in Nigeria is so large and diverse, but it’s so easy to constrict it when you don’t leave your bubble.
This was my key take away after attending the @lens4good event as a panelist in Kwara. I wasn’t just opportuned to share my experience as a visual storyteller, I picked up a couple of lessons as well.
It’s absolutely amazing to see young people who are genuinely interested in the creative industry get the support they need to thrive.
It was also honestly so special being surrounded by so many creatives, people I’ve admired and looked up to for a long time. Just sharing the same space with them and getting to learn from their minds and experiences meant a lot to me. I truly loved every bit of it.
Some projects go beyond content, they document impact.
The partnership between Google and Del-York Academy created space for learning, growth, and meaningful industry exposure.
Hearing Ireoluwa reflect on her journey is a reminder that access truly changes outcomes.

A while ago, I was privileged to be in a mentorship session with @timmydavies_
I expected the usual, how to shoot this, how to do that. But his approach was different.
He asked us to slow down and think deeply about what we actually want. About our core.
I remember writing a very long essay on my essence, with the intention of turning it into a video. I never did.
Lately, though, things have become clearer. I’ve discovered what sits at the center of everything I do, what I love, what drives me, and why I create.
This feels like the right time to finally share that. This is my why.
