This immersive session is a sensory return to the self. Ground your nervous system with gentle, restorative shapes, then channel those sensations into exploratory art. This isn’t about the final piece; it’s about the joy of making, feeling, and being.

A couple of weeks ago @laurenpratt_scenic and I did this mural for @glossopmarkethall lovely outdoor seating area!
It was a glorious day, we had such a great time chatting with people and doing what we love!
Mural designed by Moi ✨️ inspired by plants found in our beautiful little town; bistorta, marsh marigolds and Heather!

She’s such a big part of Glossop Wholefoods and brings so much warmth and kindness to the shop every day. And honestly… doesn’t she look absolutely blooming beautiful 🌼

What a day, what a week!
Honoured to be apart of @arkane.collective and show some work next to some incredible artists at our Beltane exhibition yesterday!

*Yesterday was so much fun* @derbyshiremakes Festival felt like such a coming together of community in a real creative expression of the 'Beltane' theme.
From all the artists at Arkane Collective we want to thank everyone who took the time to come and see the exhibition and take part in our drop in leaf workshop.
We also want to thank @highpeakcomarts
For giving us a platform to showcase our work, some of us for the first time, which feels really exciting.
Expect big things from Arkane Collective in the coming months and hopefully we will be back next year with another exhibition.

Our show will run for one day only so make sure you come and see us upstairs @glossopmarkethall as part of the @derbyshiremakes Festival.

Escape the digital noise and join us for an immersive, sensory sanctuary designed to ground your body and ignite your creative spark. This is more than a workshop; it’s a seamless journey of self-care, weaving together the wisdom of movement with the tactile beauty of the natural world.
We begin by softening the edges of the day. Through a gentle guided meditation and body scan, you’ll arrive fully in the space. To deepen the experience, we’ll introduce curated plant-oils to awaken your olfactory system and soothe the nervous system.
Move with intention in an inclusive yoga session led by Jen. This practice is lovingly designed for every body, regardless of experience or physical limitations. We focus on mindful transitions and the rhythmic flow of breath. With the support of blocks and bolsters, you are encouraged to honor your unique body.
Unleash your inner artist using tools gifted by the earth. Led by Lauren and Tess, this hands-on session invites you to explore texture and form. You’ll work with handmade paintbrushes crafted from organic materials and natural sketching equipment, allowing nature to be both your medium and your inspiration.
Pause and reflect over soul-warming refreshments including Artisan Herbal Teas, wholesome home-made Bakes and a fresh seasonal fruit platter.

@tessgee_ designed this epic mural for the new outdoor seating area and we both spent the day painting it and sampling the lovely food at the market hall throughout the day.

*Exciting News* Arkane Collective have been chosen to put together an exhibition for the @derbyshiremakes Festival in Glossop this year!
We are so excited and grateful for all the support from @highpeakcomarts giving the opportunity to showcase not only our own work but a group of other local talented folk.
'Awaken' our exhibition will be upstairs at the @glossopmarkethall event space which is our dream venue.
The theme this year is 'Beltane' and we are all very busy crafting an exciting showcase of work across multiple mediums. Ceramics, painting, sculpture, photography and graphic design.

Some of the wonderful artwork created by our participants at the Spring Natural Art Workshop.
@laurenpratt_scenic spent so much time hand making all the watercolours, pencil crayons, wax Crayons and inks herself. It was inspiring to see how people used these materials to create their work.
