I think sometimes people get “accepting yourself” mixed up with settling. When really accepting means acknowledging where you are, even acknowledging if it’s not where you’d like to be. With love and gentleness, this moment is where I am.

A night of songs and silliness this Tuesday at 5pm on Twitch supporting ASAN! The Autistic Self Advocacy Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run by and for autistic people. ASAN is a national grassroots disability rights organization for the autistic community. They work to make sure autistic people are included in policy-making, so that laws and policies meet the community’s needs.
