Catching up almost 8 months later.
In August and September 2025 we managed to do two low budget 2-day trips to Switzerland and omg I’ve never seen anything like that, getting goosebumps even when rewatching these picture s and videos

A film I worked on last year is out now - Brothers Under Fire (aka Sierra Madre). Never would have thought it’s possible to be a 1st assistant editor fully remote and across several different time zones.
First, it was UK-Columbia. Then Germany-UK for a few weeks, and eventually Russia-UK (with 3 hour time difference).
shoutout to the podcast People in Post - “suite life or remote hustle” that spilled some light on the possibility of remote work in post and the fact that it’s not as uncommon as many might think.
Most importantly, enormous gratitude to Josh Chadwick for bringing me onboard, having confidence in me to be the only assistant and willingness to make the remote format work.
And of course big respect, applause and congratulations to the crew and the team behind it s for all the hard work to make this film special.
Back in 2022 at London Film Academy I was lucky to be assigned to edit a short film “Subs”, directed by @joewarner_
One year later after reading Joe’s new script I was so excited and eager to contribute to this film coming together.
This time last year we locked the picture and now I’m delighted to see that the film has been doing so well in the festival round. So happy and proud for the whole team that worked on this film! Can’t wait until it’s out for everyone to watch, and for now here’s a little snippet and some cool stills!

This bittersweet sadness is a reminder of what a beautiful time we had, beautiful friendships we built and beautiful memories we made.
The past 1,5 years hugely impacted my career in the best way that I couldn’t even dare to dream of, and am incredibly grateful for.
But ironically, the things that added the most value to my life were the people I’ve met, the experiences we’ve been through, even if both happy and painful ones. Excitements, victories, frustrations, friendships, heartbreaks, despair, trust, love, forgiveness - everything now blends together into cherishing how intensely I’ve been living this life, in all its colors. And for this, I’m eternally grateful❤️
Time to say something about “Say Nothing”, which by the way is finally out today on Disney+🎉
It’s been a 17 months long journey that I was on with an amazing team, the editors and the assistant editors that from day 1 set a high standard with their example, and besides guiding me through all the technical aspects of this job, also taught to keep the live-work balance, work ethics, setting boundaries, acknowledging good work and strengths, treating each other with respect and kindness, with occasional dad jokes, plank challenges, music breaks, late nights and Friday pints. Thank you all, it was the dream🫶
Now, moving on to the next chapter☺️

My first job on HETV that started from a trainee position and later lead to a 2nd Assistant Editor role.
So grateful and lucky to be working on this for the past 18 months, from helping set up the cutting room to the final deliveries and archiving, this has surely been a long but interesting and exciting journey. Special thanks to our incredible editors and editorial team who guided me along the way and helped me grow professionally, I couldn’t wish for a better team. And thanks to everyone who contributed to this show coming together!
