I’ve been a little radio silent while I moved house over the last couple of weeks but I’ve been so looking forward to getting this little video out. I had the pleasure of working with @alichurchillfilms a few weeks back to make some content around the Sarah Go Well release. We found a gorgeous spot in the Wye Valley and had a chat about the song, about music, and about the meaning behind SGW. I’m in the stages of planning the next release (while also working like a dog on writing my next project) but this nicely ties up the release of my first single in a way that I love. #indiefolk #songwriter #boniver #originalmusic

My first ever tour starts this Friday night at @12barmusicandsocial with @anyapailthorpemusic and I can’t actually believe it’s here. I’m fortunate enough to have many talented friends that I can rope them in to help me make content whenever they’re over, so @sophiesuttonmusic and I shook off a bean taco induced food coma to sing an old tune that we’re going to be singing together here and there over the next few months. I’ve come back from the peace and beauty of northern Scotland into the madness and I’m trying to find time to reflect on my time away. Spending time with one of my oldest friends and getting to really reconnect was truly beautiful. @wdhowlet and I have been friends for nearly 20 years but between our businesses and living hours apart we never get to spend the time with one another that we’d like. The sheer beauty and the quiet of the highlands never fails to take my breath away and it was lovely to be reminded why I wrote a song for that part of the world and for my want to be there. Now that I’m back, I’m trying to balance fatherhood, a house move, a grandmother in hospital, my covers work and some really welcome and necessary personal growth. I’m so excited to be gigging my own songs more - and again this Wednesday with @lararxsemusic at @louisiana.bristol - but I know I’m going to let some people down at times while I try to do everything. Once I’m moved in I’ll be back to the regular content and I’ve got a really really fun idea for a song to cover which I’ll get up on here in the next few days.
