A glimpse at this past weekend - Sigal - a project that took over my life for the past 6 months has wrapped principal photography. This shoot was a rollercoaster and I couldn’t have done it without this unbelievable cast and crew who worked with passion and dedication through every challenge. 2 years ago I shot an experimental documentary short with @alejandrosegoviac while on a trip through the litoral carioca (Rio’s coastline). It was the beginning of a series of shorts we decided to call PRJCT VOYGR - A visual experiment aiming to deconstruct and emphasize a series of collective memories. This chapter became a portrait of the ethereal landscape of ‘Ilha dos Desejos’ (Island of the Wishes) and its mystifying owner, George Otero. Next month, our film will have its US premiere at the @NYBRFFofficial !! 📽️📽️ We are super excited to finally see these images on the big screen, and hope you will join us for its release on November 10th!
