My brother, Teo, and I had the privilege of choreographing a duet for the show Dance Lovers 14 in San Fransisco last month. After growing up training circus together, Teo found his way to dance and I continued on with aerial. Reuniting and performing together once again after 8 years was a very special moment for us. I hope you enjoy this piece as much as we do. I lived. # I laughed. # I loved. # And more importantly, much more importantly, in fact, than what you thought was important, because that’s not really that important, is it, really, is that, in actuality, I did find them, shining, bright, and new, sitting, lost, untouched, untethered, right there, where you were, where nothing is, and they gave me everything, and nothing, and that’s exactly what I have to show for it, nothing, because that’s all anything ever really is, isn’t it?✅🦺 # Someone asked me once if I would regret my words. Would you ask me to regret myself? Of course they have power and influence that’s why I said them. To sacrifice the truth? To spare feelings? How feeble. What cowardice? An artist afraid of critique? No one could ever tell me something I created was worth not creating. That would be stupid. The act is done. The life taken. The art maketh. What justification does it require? It’s mere existence suggests that there is superfluous “why”. What more could any one, any word take from you? Don’t be dumb. Wake up from your nap and answer the gd door! # I was busy, once. I filled every orifice of my hours in an attempt to (you get the idea). A lot of names and dates and times and activities and names and people and lives and stories and new stories and old stories and memories and lost memories and found memories and it starting to feel full I think I’m full I think an hour has 60 moments and that’s too many and I think and I think and then suddenly you’re at my door and I answer and I don’t have to think any more I just have to be a gap in time, for just a minute or two (hopefully) # Something sinister soon…🥉💦🍝 # Stay tuned.

Another glimpse into our work - featuring The Soulmates Project… Soulmates is an ongoing dance project created by Teo Lin-Bianco that traces the complexity of love, trust, and emotional inheritance. Originally developed as their senior thesis at UC Berkeley, the first iteration (To the Soulmates I Once Called Strangers) explored intimacy in brief but transformative encounters. Inspired in part by Ocean Vuong’s poem Seventh Circle of Earth, the project seeks to physicalize tenderness, pain, and connection. The second version, Soulmate/Stranger, was performed at APAture 2024 and examined how harm and healing cycle through relationships. The upcoming third chapter will premiere at Flux and Form in November 2025 and investigates how addiction manifests in romantic and communal bonds. Each iteration is both personal and collective—revisiting the question: What does it mean to love, and to be changed by it?
