This is a juvenile ribbonfish π
These deep-sea creatures live hundreds of meters down and use those long, delicate filaments to drift through the currents.
While they look tiny and transparent now, they can grow several meters long. Seeing one near the surface is incredibly rare, as they usually spend their lives in the dark, vertical and still to save energy.
