I’m so excited to share this opportunity with other theatre movement enthusiasts or the theatre curious individuals in my life!🎭🌀🌟
Join me for a beginner friendly Viewpoints Workshop on Saturday 1/17 at 10am-12:30pm. All skill levels welcome to practice!
Please RSVP at the google form for the Seattle location and donation info. Link in Bio!
I’ve suggested $10 to cover the cost for studio booking & to tip me for my admin/ teaching artist skills. Any amount is appreciated but no one will be excluded for lack of funds!
The workshop will include an introduction to Viewpoints Theory, including briefly touching on each of the nine viewpoints. I’ll lead us through some exercises to get into the headspace of creating collaborative movement with Viewpoints methodology and then we’ll end with some playful & open improvisations using what we’ve explored.
But what is it??
Viewpoints is a movement based artistic practice developed by directors Anne Bogart & Tina Landau from Mary Overlie’s original Six Viewpoints. It provides a framework for creating & analyzing performance through exploration of spatial relationships, shape, time, emotion, movement mechanics and the materiality of the actors body. Everything I’ll be sharing comes from The Viewpoints Book by Anne Bogart & Tina Landau.
New headshots looking sooooo whimsical with @theensemble What a lovely crew to have been creating theatre with these past few months!⚡️
And all the love to @aqueerphotog for making me feel like a fae prince in this forest clearing🌿🧚🏼🌟
Blowing kisses from Seattle🌿🌸✨🌀
Come by Asha and I’s new apartment, the Tchotchke Museum (ie: slide six). I’ll bake you an afternoon treat and entertain you at the theatre by evening. Maybe we can make plans for rebuilding the world anew?

💀🔪🩸
Two years ago, I was in the audience at an Emerald City Slasher show. I was dazzled by the form, by the ensemble and their memorable characters/ story arcs, and by the crew improvising eerie sound/ light cues.
What a gift it’s been to become part of this show’s history, with this specific group of people! Since we started rehearsing in August, my improv and performance skills have grown tremendously.
I’ve had an incredible time creating worlds of connected characters, the silliest bits imaginable, and horrifying deaths with this group of folks that I’d now trust with my life- well maybe with ending my life (onstage, in a very fantastical way). Big love to everyone I’ve gotten to prov with or be supported by during this show!😈👻
Come celebrate closing with us this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm at West of Lenin! (There’s still pay what you can tickets for Halloween night and regular priced tickets for Friday/ Saturday)

Year THREE seeing Ginger Root in Seattle! So grateful Audrey brought me to the show that fateful December in 2022: that concert was my introduction to their music!! The artistry and worldbuilding and silliness of this band is what makes it one of my favorite groups making music right now.
Everyone should have the pleasure of experiencing a Ginger Root concert.🎥🌟📺🥰
🎭 15 days until WE OPEN for EMERALD CITY SLASHER! 🎭
But first, let's meet our incredible cast! 🙌
✨ Meet Peyton ‘Ten’! ✨
Ten's zest for improv started their first year of college, when they witnessed the magic of PLU's own improv troupe The Clay Crows. From then on, they were hooked on improv, finding or creating opportunities to practice, and finally joining The Clay Crows their junior year. Nowadays, Peyton performs with the Jet City Improv Ensemble, teaches theatre arts with Tacoma Arts Live, and occasionally hosts the Jet City PRISM Jam. Ten is so excited for this opportunity to combine their passion for horror and their love of improv in The Emerald City Slasher!
