London meets Switzerland for a special live session at Kasheme.
Tenderlonious, the London based multi instrumentalist, producer, DJ and founder of the influential 22a label, will perform a unique live collaboration with Swiss duo Samson Philipps, winners of the ZKB Public Prize 2025, and the exceptional percussionist Bérénice Awa. It will be the first time these musicians share the stage.

Tenderlonious is a key figure of London’s modern jazz movement, Tenderlonious plays flute, saxophone and synthesizers, blending jazz, soul and electronic influences. Over the past 13 years, his label 22a Music has helped shape a new wave of London artists and earned support from Gilles Peterson, Osunlade, Lefto & more.
He will play DJ sets at Kasheme on Friday 17 April and Saturday 18 April in the Living Room and the Gallery.

Depuis sa création en 2011 et la sortie en 2015 de l’album ovationné « Two for Joy », Ruby Rushton compte parmi les formations influentes issues de la scène actuelle britannique. Composé d’instrumentistes de haut vol, le quartet a construit une réelle complicité musicale au fil des années. Leur son de groupe unique a été transposé avec brio dans un cinquième album studio sorti en octobre 2025 sur 22a, le label du meneur et saxophoniste Tenderlonious. Avec des morceaux allant chercher vers les rythmes et sonorités de l’afrobeat, du latin et du hip-hop, interprétés par des musiciens prêts à en mettre plein les oreilles au public du Next Step, il faut se préparer pour ce concert à un condensé de ce que le jazz moderne a de mieux à offrir.

We had an overwhelmingly positive response to yesterday’s 22a flash sale on @bandcamp . Thanks to all that came through and supported.
It feels good to be selling vinyl at an affordable price again, especially as the format has become so expensive over the last few years.
With the above in mind I’ve decided to extend the 22a sale for the rest of this weekend so that more people can have the opportunity to browse the catalogue and enjoy the significantly reduced prices.
Moving forward I’m going to make a conscious effort to start selling vinyl releases at a more affordable price. Vinyl prices have gotten out of hand recently and I can see that it’s making it unaffordable for a lot of people, which is the last thing we need with the cost of living continually increasing!
