Big thank you to @drawspacesydney for hosting us and to everyone who has participated in De-Choiring over the last few years
Join us tomorrow afternoon at DRAW Space for De-Choiring: Presenting an Archive.
Looking back over two years of De-Choiring, Temporary Position shares an archive of ideas, resources and recordings. De-Choiring is a practice for exploring vocalisation through alternative methods of score making.
The archive will be presented as an installation for one afternoon at DRAW Space giving time to explore the ephemera of De-Choiring happenings. Beyond this moment of reflection the archive also exists as a handbook to bring De-Choiring to new communities.

Seeking scores, images, testimonies, recordings and notes from your experiences at De-Choiring —
Temporary Position is compiling a De-Choiring archive of sound, image, video and text to be an open resource for presenting De-Choiring in new communities.
We encourage and welcome all contributions to the archive from any of the De-Choiring iterations. This could be a scribbled note, an inspired drawing, a quick photo, a voice memo reflection, a sound memory, or any other related outcomes.
Please send us a DM or email us at [email protected]
The archive will be presented at @drawspacesydney on the afternoon of the 25th of August. We look forward to seeing your memories and reflections.

Using objects brought from our personal spaces, we created scores that that translated their context into a communal terrain that could be sounded together.
