Threading the needle with this one Installing a 4k lb beam isn’t as easy as it looks. The framers wanted to bring in a 100 Ton crane, which would be easy on a new construction projects but not under these circumstances. We couldn’t bring a crane in because it would destroy the paver driveway. After a few rounds with steel, calculations point loads from the equipment we used a reach fork and a very seasoned operator who threaded the needle getting this beam flow in with out any issues.
