Two weeks ago, we hosted our 'On the Contrary' event with 7 TEDx speakers and live art performances from @boulder_ballet and @instasquash .
Here's an event recap in case you missed it! Thank you to all who came and supported TEDxCU throughout the year, we are eternally grateful to all of you.
15 Years of TEDxCU coming soon...
My 2025-2026 @tedxcu team produced an incredible show for over 1000 people this past Saturday. This team of 50 students worked for 10 months and curated an incredible event with seven talks, seven audience activations, a ballet performance, a jam session with a local band, and a VIP after party. Each year they recruit new members, choose a theme, build a budget, recruit speakers and coaches, plan the fall Student Voices public speaking competition, create a marketing and outreach plan, negotiate sponsorships, create a ticket sales strategy, host practice sessions for speakers, design and build audience activations and a stage, tell our story through photos and videos, manage all event logistics, all while building a cohesive and inclusive team environment. I tell them that excellence is thousands of details executed perfectly; they were excellent this weekend. The best part of my job at @cuboulder is working with this team of talented students. Congrats on a job well done! Photo Credit: @jack.moody1@cubouldercmci

For years, MSG was treated like something to fear, but much of that stigma came from flawed science and anti-Asian bias, not fact.
Tomorrow, @dooorie of @makfamdenver is taking that conversation to the @tedxcu stage. She’ll be breaking down how one ingredient became so misunderstood despite being responsible for the umami found naturally in foods like tomatoes, mushrooms, and cheese.
