We're proud to announce that CAROL & JOY will have its New York premiere at #nyff63!
The new short film directed by Nathan Silver (BETWEEN THE TEMPLES), CAROL & JOY, puts the spotlight on actress Carol Kane and her 98-year-old mother, Joy Kane—a music teacher and former dancer who lives with Carol on the Upper West Side.
@thenyff says it's "replete with love, pain, and texture: a close-quarters view of artistic vocation, mother-daughter bonds, and two women’s journeys through one century and into another."
Showing as part of the New York Shorts program.
