Hey Everyone. I am doing the NYC five-boro bike ride on Sunday - 40 miles! This is a charity fundraiser for FTD. Frontotemporal degeneration is the most common form of dementia for people under the age of 60. If you are able, please visit my page and consider supporting!
Thank you so much.

I'm looking forward to playing at @thelocalsaugerties with ACN this Sunday. The venue is a former Dutch chapel built in the 1870s that has been reimagined as a performance venue. The acoustics are amazing! We'll play one set at 5 PM, featuring music from our brand new album Triological. @harrisongtr guitar choir performs at 6 PM. Tix link in bio.
Next weekend at Birdland!

Hey I am so happy to be kicking off this Allison, Cardenas & Nash tour in my hometown of Los Angeles, at Sam First on Friday and Saturday. I love this club - intimate, like someone you love's living room. Come and hang with us. All new music from our upcoming release on Sunnyside, Triological!
Heads up the club is small and tends to sell out, so grab your seats! See you there!

Triological – the new album by Alison Cardenas & Nash will be released on @sunnysiderec on April 10. And we’re coming out to California for a week tour, starting March 27, before heading back to NYC for three nights at @birdlandjazz April 10-12. I can’t wait to play this news music for you all.
Join us on March 31 for an evening of jazz inspired by art! The trio of Allison, Cárdenas, and Nash will take their cue from SBMA’s ongoing exhibition, Remixed, creating layered improvisations full of subtlety and surprise.
Hear more from Ted Nash about jazz and his interpretation of Remixed (on view through August 30).

Resonancia was in its first film festival this weekend - Film Otsego. So great to see other short films and be part of this inspiring community of people of all ages telling stories through this special medium. Cathy Barbash, my co-producer/director, and I were so honored to receive the BEST DOCUMENTARY award!

I am SO excited to do a series of classes with my favorite jazz historian, Seton Hawkins. Over the course of four Zoom gatherings we will explore the music and life of one of Jazz's true geniuses, Herbie Nichols.
Classes are Wednesday evenings, 7-9 from Jan 28-Feb 18. And we will have a couple special guests! Cant's wait.

November 9th at the Tilles Center - Presidential Suite Sextet, with special guest Terell Stafford. This is the first time this music will be performed in a sextet format. Presidential Suite is a musical composition that blends jazz with history and politics. Inspired by famous political speeches, each movement of the Suite is tied to a different speech by world leaders, such as Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, Nelson Mandela, Winston Churchill, and others, giving the words new resonance through music. For each piece and excerpt will be read by guests who are leaders in Longs Island's community.
