Everyone keeps asking…. The next JAZZ NIGHT will be in one week. Friday 8th May. With the café’s darlings @tedbransonquartet It’s gonna be a good one. It’s never not. As usual we got some gorgeous natural wines, amazing local beers on tap and some non-alc options too. There are no tickets here, just arriving early to get a great spot. Come along and don’t be afraid to get stuck in. After the music, the audience is always the biggest contribution to these nights, and you guys always bring such a brilliant atmosphere. These guys can really get a room grooving. This is the @tedbransonquartet at @somethingmoreproductive in #Withington last night for their Valentine's gig. Amazing sound, great atmosphere. Congrats to the band and the award-winning café for another very special night. I spoke with one woman who had only moved to Withington in the last few months and she was loving it. Earlier in the day, I’d been with the band as they ‘rehearsed’ at Ted’s house. They have so much passion for their music… it was a real pleasure. Thanks for letting me sit in.

I’m becoming a @tedbransonquartet sketching groupie. Twice in a week. They played an amazing midsummer’s gig last night at the wonderful @kioskonlapwing Great vibe, wonderful crowd. I caught the attention of four-year-old (?) Sylvie who took my picture and later helped add some splashes of colour. Thanks Sylvie. @friends_of_lapwing_lane_arcade
