🔥🍳🥇 Seven school teams of Jr. Chefs faced off in a "Chopped"-style cooking competition, concluding a culinary series brought to life by Beyond the Bell. Throughout the series, students explored new cuisines and cooking techniques in the state-of-the-art kitchens at the CCE. Last Friday was a warm day in West Philly. Someone had Earth, Wind & Fire going. All the while, volunteers were fixing up about eleven homes in the neighborhood. Rebuilding Together Philadelphia repairs owner-occupied homes for free, three times a year to install new flooring, grab bars, and everything in between. This was part of Repair, Revitalize, Rebuild — a program TEC-CDC runs in partnership with Rebuilding Together Philadelphia and CHOP to provide free home repairs for seniors. Part of our mission is making sure longtime residents have healthy homes and secure assets to pass on to the next generation. With our partners @rtphiladelphia @myphillypark @childrensphila @williampennfoundation , members of the CDC were able to help legacy residents be safe and stable in their homes. #WestPhilly #RebuildingTogetherPhiladelphia #52ndStreet #PhillyHousing #TECCDC
