This bill works to regulate firearms based on the unusual lethality of their internal mechanisms, which would prevent access to firearms like the one used in Parkland, Florida, where in just six and a half minutes, 17 people were killed, including 14 students.

For almost a century, Congress has banned the general public from using the U.S. Postal Service to mail handguns. It's a common-sense way to prevent gun trafficking, theft, and the shipment of firearms to people who aren't legally allowed to have them.
Now, after the Dept. of Justice unilaterally decided this law is unconstitutional, the USPS is considering allowing the general public to ship handguns through everyday mail, needlessly endangering postal workers and the public.
