Spent the last week in Moab riding Class 1 e-bikes. Went farther, saw more, had way more funâand no added trail impact.
Back in Jackson, itâs clear:
Closure isnât management.
Letâs expand access responsibly, build more trails in the right places, and get more people outside.
If you believe in balanced, multi-use trails, consider supporting AMPL.

This warm weather has been a huge hit to low elevation snow and AMPLâs grooming schedule has had to adapt. At this time we are hoping to get one more groom of the upper portion of Spring Creek but we will likely be removing the grooming drag from the trail after that as the first mile of trail is entirely dirt and the wear and tear on our equipment is too significant to continue grooming there unless we receive a large snowfall. Grooming will continue on Pinnacle and Pole as long as conditions allow.
Despite the poor conditions this season AMPL has completed 42 grooming missions and hopes to continue through this month! Swipe to see some of that smoooooth trail from last week! Hopefully we get a few more storms and temps will drop again. See you on the trails! #doyoursnowdance #winteraccess #teamAMPL #wintergrooming
Grooming Schedule 2/9-2/15
Hoping for a few inches out there this week but making the most of what weâve got! See you on the trails đ¤đźđ¤đźâď¸
Join us for a State of the Snowpack presentation and discussion with Alex Drinkard, forecaster for the Bridger-Teton Avalanche Center, at Melvin Brewing in Alpine on February 19th. Grab a beer and dinner and get an inside look at the current snowpack and the ways that it can inform your recreation decisions. See you there!
The snow has trickled in just enough to get AMPLâs grooming program on a mostly consistent schedule! We will be posting the weekly grooming schedule every Monday for you to reference. Shoutout to the grooming team of AMPL staff and volunteers who are out on the trails 6 days a week smoothing out your access! Give a wave when you see us out there! We are grateful for the opportunity to be caring for these important multi-use access points that our community loves! Now go do your snow dance! #teamAMPL #wintergrooming #winteraccess #accessforall
AMPL winter work update! The AMPL team has been out grooming on Pinnacle, Spring Creek, and Pole Canyon in the last week and getting a read on the snow levels. We are working on a consistent grooming schedule but it will be limited until we get more snow so that we donât damage the equipment. If you are interested in being on our volunteer grooming team please email [email protected] to inquire.
All but two of the beacon checkers are up and working and there to give you an additional check when you are heading into the backcountry. But remember, the beacon checker doesnât replace a partner beacon check!! Stay safe out there! Weâre stoked to be out working to make sure youâve got great access to our public lands. See you on the trails! #teamAMPL
