From realness, where queer folk tried to pass as their straight/cis counterparts, vogue emanating different poses as found in a magazine, fashion categories and performance categories create spaces to celebrate and champion trans folk alongside queer people of colour

Wales having an active ballroom scene means there is the opportunity to find community for queer and trans people of colour in Cardiff and further afield
The land of the dragon has lots of talent and @welshballroom showcased that in this community session that we attended back in November
Cardiff has always been a melting pot, with the diversity of the city reflected in the diversity platformed and celebrated through ballroom

Doing this again so soon is not easy.
Yesterday 07/08/25 we finally said farewell to our beloved Tia.
Shortly after loosing betty back in November we discovered tia was in heart failure, her little ticker wasn't pumping fluid around her body in the way it should be and over the months our little lady slowed down until we said goodbye and let her go and see her sister Betty.
We rescued tia 13 years ago as a little sassy pup who grew into a very sassy lady. Tia was known for her side eyes, brief pauses before letting out a bark for fuss and all around diva attitude.
While I feel absolutely broken over you going I know Betty can't wait to see you 🌈
