'As artists, I feel truth, authenticity and integrity need to align with what we produce.
There’s something about movement that’s very freeing. I can embody so many parts of myself without having to explain it; I can be and feel feminine or delicate or soft, even though I’m in a 6-foot man’s body. Movement allows me to be those things whilst also feeling powerful and strong, tapping into different qualities that exist within me. I think more people need creativity in their lives to explore themselves, and being queer we’re lucky to have that - we already know that we don’t fit into a certain bracket. I can discover and rewrite that for myself, rather than just take what society has given me.'
