Team 4272 Maverick Robotics just had an incredible weekend, officially winning the FIRST Indiana State Championship! This win secured our spot at the FIRST Championships in Houston, TX, giving us the chance to defend our 2025 World Championship title.
Winning at the state level is a massive achievement, but the turnaround to get a full team of students and their equipment to Texas is a huge financial undertaking. We want to ensure that every student on this winning team can make the trip, regardless of their budget.

STATE CHAMPIONS! 🏆
For the first time in Maverick Robotics history, we are bringing home the blue banner from the FIRST Indiana State Championship!
After finishing qualifications ranked #1, we had the honor of captaining Alliance 1 alongside our incredible partners, @frc7457 (suPURDUEper Robotics) and @redalert1741 . It all came down to a tense, three-match finals series, but we pulled through to take the win!
Next stop: Houston! 🚀 We’ll be competing at the World Championship from April 30 – May 2. Let’s keep this momentum going! Go Mavs!

Solid weekend at the FIN District Lafayette Event! 🧱⛏️
Our team put in the work this past weekend, finishing qualification matches ranked 4th with an impressive 11-5 record.
We were thrilled to be the first pick of Alliance 2, joining forces with @frc3494 (The Quadrangles) and @shamrockbotics (FRC Team 6956). It was a blast navigating this year’s REBUILT field with such talented partners. We left it all on the floor, battling through the double-elimination bracket until Round 5.
Incredibly proud of how our students handled the pressure and kept the robot running at peak performance. Onward to the next one!
