Pushing back the manure pile is something that always needs doing on the farm, no matter the season! 🚜 It may not be the most glamourous job, but it’s a vital, regular task on the farm. A humongous thanks to CASE IH Events - Ontario & O’Neils in Binbrook for providing us with our tractor, and giving us the means to complete important tasks on the farm every week, all year-long. We are also so grateful to our incredible volunteers for driving our tractor, and helping us maintain our property! She is very vocal, and loves to make cute sounds to express herself. Previously, she worked as a team driving horse. If you see her on the farm, don't forget to say hello. Hi friends… it’s me, Waldo 🐴💙 Today is National Help a Horse Day, and I wanted to tell you something important… Every day, me and my herd friends show up to help humans feel brave, strong, and supported. We carry them, walk beside them, and sometimes just stand quietly while they find their confidence. It’s kind of our superpower. But taking care of us takes a lot too — yummy hay, cozy bedding, vet visits, and all the things that keep us happy and healthy so we can keep doing what we love. This week is National Volunteer Week! Volunteers are at the heart of our organization, and we could not do what we do without them. In addition to helping with riding and grooming lessons, clinical sessions, summer camp, and horse care, we also have amazing, dedicated volunteers on our Board of Directors, maintenance crew, philanthropy committee, and everything in between.
