Aaaaand thatâs a wrap for A Knight to Remember! Last night, many of our artists came together for an unforgettable evening of entertainment, education, and nosh. We owe an enormous thanks to all who made this fundraiser a success, including our artists, patrons, attendees, a sponsorship by Two Point Capital, and in-kind sponsorships by Erin McDonald Co. and Love of Beauty Events by Nitkita. Their dedication to TAROCâs mission will help us sustain our work connecting local artists to the Rochester community and beyond.

How it started⌠ok, so first, ignore the mess- Iâm BUILDING something đ @larrycmoss has an event this weekend to support @teachingartistsroc called âA Knight to Rememberâ - a fun #renaissance themed fundraiser where folks are invited to dress up (no pressure!) but he needed some duds for the occasion. I did some looking at renaissance paintings and costuming resources online and had the audacity to give it a shot without a premade pattern. Iâve been stumbling across lots of patterning and cosplay makers who are working off of mannequins to make custom clothing- I didnât really have time to build one of Larry so he patiently waited while I taped him up with some paper towels (theyâre flexible like fabric but easy to cut!) and started cutting up a thrifted duvet cover I found at savers. Still want to add some little cap sleeves and need to finish my own duds- BUT! Iâm super excited about the results so far and that pattern layout on the back panel is - đŠâđłđ

Come see @tedbaumhauer bring the circus to life at A Knight to Remember!
Ted combines his doctorate in education and 30 years of corporate training experience with his world-class circus/vaudeville skills to educate the Rochester community and beyondâthink juggling, unicycles, and slack-lines, all woven into memorable keynote âenter-trainments.â Whether heâs working with K-12 students, adult professionals, or senior living groups, Ted proves that when performance meets pedagogy, the stage becomes a classroom and everyone walks away with more than applause (and maybe even a juggling ball in hand!).
Come to our Renaissance Fundraiser and learn more about (and maybe try your hand at) the circus arts with Ted! đ in bio
