Torrence Tea-Buggz Griffin (he/him) is a Chicago popping pioneer. He started popping in the early 80s, honing his craft on the city streets, which lead to winning countless talent shows and battles. He has traveled across the country and throughout the world teaching and performing his signature style, Egyptian Bang.
Tea Buggz went on to become the first popper teaching in the Chicago public school system and at Columbia College. He has danced with multiple crews including Robot Mafia, Assassin Crew, and the iconic Electric Funketeers.
We are honored to offer this class in collaboration with @moverevolution2 . As always, our classes are pay-what-you-can (suggested donation $10) and no dancer will be turned away for lack of funds.
