Těšíme se na Vás. ♥️ 📍 Wortnerův dům, České Budějovice 🕙 Otevřeno denně | 10:00 - 18:00 🇪🇺 Film vznikl jako součást projektu Magic Carpets v rámci programu Českých Budějovic – Evropského hlavního města kultury 2028. We did it! Yesterday we premiered a short film 𝐿𝒾𝓀𝑒 𝒜 𝒮𝒶𝓁𝓋𝑒 (𝐹𝑜𝓇 𝒜 𝒲𝑜𝓊𝓃𝒹) I want to namely thank Elis, who was a debutante in more than the performance and who was patient during a morning shoot on a cold day and also did not hesitate to drive us to the location, Eugene, who is always a good energy to have in team in demanding times and a natural born stunner, Geo, whose innocent face checking in whether I liked how he signed my poem I will carry in my heart forever and who brought enthusiasm and Moiz, who took all our breath away seducing the camera but who was also a good instructor teaching me how to stitch wounds. I want to thank through and through for the attentiveness of familiarizing themselves with the concepts and content before creating a sound composition to HYENAZ (Adrienne and Roi). Your work is always deep and dedicated in beautiful ways. I want to thank Justyna for jumping on the train last moment and providing through her costumes a substantial part of the atmosphere, completing the vision. Thank to Riyana for her willing assistance with lights on the set. Gratitude to Vojtěch - such a delight and joy to work with on the editing process amused by my whims and wielding the scalpel gently. And last from the immediate team but someone without whom this film would be impossible in this way is a Zaher, who I want to thank for going much deeper and dedicated for this than I thought he would, making the most beautiful moving images of people, moods, movements, water, plants and being steady so even in the biggest press I could take care of the new performers and direct them as needed. True collaboration! It would be also fair to thank Tichý Svět for providing Czech sign language translation on the set, during the workshops which generated a lot of this material and also during the premiere. Tereza, Zuzana and Marketa were all amazing. Thanks to Iva, who was indispensable and helped being a runner and supportive production. Thanks to Alena for her trust and curation and support in the densest times. And Anna who kept showing up and was open to finding ways. The film was supported by České Budějovice 2028 and Magic Carpets.

Boundary creatures - Featuring the voice of @te_silon From our forthcoming album Foreign Bodies. Come see us live tonight at @a_mazefest at @pankeculture I often mirror others behavior subconsciously sometimes i feel ashamed, i think its a remnant of conditioning given by hierarchical patriarchal society Being aware of others' internal emotions signifies hyper-vigilance and therefore fear There is an assumption of dominance and submission i wonder whether this could instead be seen as a superpower as a capacity, to energetically communicate and greet one another to mirror one another to communicate without necessarily talking to communicate long before we open our mouths or reach out our fingers -Tereza Silon

We are excited to present the third contribution to Kafkárna: The Corporeal Way - Membranes: Sensing, Absorption, Merging, and Transmutation as Sources of Knowledge by Tereza Silon. This activity falls into the realm of sensory herbalism. It provides detailed step-by-step instructions for the preparation and facilitation, supporting an emergence of space for a collective experiment, which can help us to fine-tune our sensorial perception and to access a real-time critical and contextual assessment of our sensorial, empirical data, common to both herbal practices and science. Observation and senses are our tools in multiple contexts. The instructions also contain recommended plants. It is possible to substitute them with other edible herbs or aromatic plants. We also propose a centring embodying exercise for anchoring in one ́s own system (which expands our capacity to receive any type of information and to communicate with the world around us on multiple levels). For the full PDF please go to our bio. Tereza Silon (ona, they) is an interdisciplinary artist working mostly within performance & embodied research, is a socio-politically critical bodyworker and massage therapist, poet and experimental herbalist. They studied History of Art and Archaeology of Africa and Asia, contemporary circus performance on the side and afterwards The Foundation of Clinical Naturopathy and various bodywork modalities. @te_silon @rajska__zahrada @kafkarna_ @umprum_praha graphic design by @zofiafodorova images on respective slides: 1. by Ye Mimi 3. by Tereza Silon 4.&10. Last year this time,I had the utter pleasure and joy to be invited by @barbora.lungova to spend time on the land and learn about the way wild orchids pop their heads all perky in scythed meadows, saw the bloom and the thickening of the green in the hawthorn next to a temporary spring pool with a bloom of tender-stalked water weeds, with heavy and humid May clouds reflected.I woke up and fell asleep with no devices and often no electricity,I thought I’d cry a lot as my nervous system would become more and more relaxed, but instead i experienced legthening of time, by body functions synchronising,a renewed capacity to be creative and focus on reading long texts, even parallely, to think and foremost - to think and feel with others. I wrote some poetry and since then more (in English) I’d love to know where to publish, if you have any ideas. I also spent about five days of the nearly three weeks of a bird wash and dry toilet and gas cooking that actually all felt like a relief and embodying with a visit of my beloveds @hyenazhyenaz . I had long not experienced the luxury of having unrushed conversations as well as silent nature walkings with a group of trusted ones, where you could take a pause and breath between the words.I cannot express how much it all nourished my creativity for the whole year and how much it reminded me I need trees and to touch grass. Not as some wellness thing, but as a form of relationality.I was also touched by the small and big ways in which Bára is just such a wonderful host.I am indebted for the conversations but also long botanical and ladscape history walks,as she is not only an amazing painter and a piano player, but also someone who actively partakes in the local environmental projects. I indulged in making bird friends around the trailer I was staying with.I was invited to witness a bloom of her rainbow iris garden that is planted into living poems. I watch it change over the short spun of time. I chose my favourite iris, frilly,salmon-y,beige,light yellow coloured, not so visible in the corner but actually really outstanding & erotic upon a closer expection and learnt it is called the ‘Broken Promise’, upon which I laughed bitterly.

Hi don’t be like me. I try to de-influence you. Be like yourself. Do your own, original mistakes. I am loved for mine in a way that explodes my brain by the right people and you have to be humbled by love for yours. Don’t be like me and have a work that makes sense to you because you spent 15 years building it (no map), but is now economically unviable (because people around you can barely pay for basics let alone services and the cultural sector is being systematically destroyed and loving people bravely does not pay your rent) but people will tell you how an encounter with you changed their life (and actually rarely make a space for you in it but that is a different story, weirdo witches with a tick in the eye from past long lives and unpruned brain and defiant tendencies are an aquired taste and you too’d start hunching around your heart, eventually, if you’re not careful). Don’t be like me in choosing friends that are too bright, too brave, too outspoken and too beautiful and full of talent and agency,so the kin is then not taken from you just by a general intimacy incompetence we’ve baked from a scratch in this world that forces some silly stories and makes us fear each other more than f@sc1sm ,further and further from any truth, but by the evil system locking up those you love that actually try to speak up consistently and reach an alignment with the truth and set their moral compass properly. The thing you CAN do like me is to share this f*ndr@is3r for l3g@l f33s. I want to influence you to do just that or if you can to send some change or a bit more, because if we cannot speak the truth we cannot heal: ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️💋❤️💋💋❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ /legal-defense-fund-czechelbit10 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Anyways.Let me trouble you in the best ways possible. I really mean well. And that is maybe the most annoying part of me despite the many flaws I have, even above my bluntness. Yes I can work your body on a massage table, but we can also work on each other’s soul by not buying into the deadening of the spirit (and of other alive beings) too. Healing comes in many forms. And most of us have a skewed idea about how it is supposed to look like.

Some March and April phone notes ‘poems’. Some unrelated older s3xt unwillingly turned poetry. Lovers never die, but sometimes they leave. You know the feeling when your heart gushes so much you do not know if you live or if you’re dying. Probably both. I remember listening to Paradise Circus by Massive Attack when it came out and ‘Love is like a sin, my love, for those who feel it the most.’ was so recognizable. If I only knew what I know now that most of us are not emotionally brave enough to even unclench our jaw and ass, let alone our hearts. PJ then sings ‘Shame is the shadow of love.’ I cannot say how much I am thinking about how shame gets in the way. Sometimes it is useful, mostly not. But it can be worked. One of my absolutely favourites of all time is ‘Should I pursue a path so twisted, should I crawl defeated and gifted.’ or ‘My bowels are empty, excreting your soul. What can I give you? Baby I don’t know. What can I give you to make this thing grow.’ by Patti Smith (I think Pissing in a river is probably one of the most underestimated devotional pieces of music.) Recently a friend with one of the most beautiful brains I know told me ‘It really sucks that noone will ever understand all parts of me.’ and I could not even tell her how much I resonate with the unrealistic desire to be understood. I recently horribly overtexted someone I wanted to know me. Some days I go the Lauryn Hill path saying ‘I prefer to understand than to be understood.’, but mostly I navigate a world where I do not agree with its rules, I did not write them, so I would also like someone to sometimes put in the effort to understand how I turned out so strange. The photo of me by love @_71mm1_ on her birthday coffee date.

TBT. I miss the moments of my beautiful body being beautifully useless to anything and anyone (obviously do not mean it would ever be a ‘blank canvas’), but very very much thinking in terms of pleasure disciplines. I have never shared this BTS from a rehearsal of my solo Good Gardens, shot by a tutor that has exited this world deliberately already some time ago. I think a lot about why we create systems that hate people, that hate bodies and moreover some more than the others. That hate minds and whole epistemological paradigms, especially those that rip off the band aid and reveal the wound that begs for healing. And I think if and under which conditions it remains ethical to take space and how there must be, there is space for all of us. If there is no space for bigotry, racism, sexism, supremacist ideologies and people (too many) who would rather preserve all the comfort they have unquestionably than face the reality head on (and among those people some friends I/ used to /love dearly and that previously used to SAY the right things). If the institutions would not play so much the game ‘how much longer can we go as if nothing has changed?’ and would ask some important moral questions and how to keep making art relevant rather than hollowing it out. Else we are all missing out on this (but that we have been missing out on already) and so so so so much more (interesting than me), vast cultural and epistemological and relational landscapes we have not even dreamt of yet! And trade a capacity of escapism for very real human lives. And others’ as well as our own dignity. Tanya Tagaq sings on one of her anti-colonial songs about retribution how money has spent us. But also about how the retribution will be swift. And we need to start(?) realizing all the book clubs we had were not just words! And that indeed we are at a historical tipping point. Not just hanging in there. I am a fierce lover, but sometimes I hate it here. Don’t you? What will you DO about it today?

HYDROTHERAPY💧2025 w I, @efemer_flowers & our HYDROTHERAPY project on a timely & fantastic invitation that enabled this magical collaboration w @ssesi.space & @avakolektiv 🫀💦 Rarely does combining art, wellness & the social/community & ecological aspect turn out well. This one, in my opinion, turned out really beautifully and the last days of summer as September arrived all golden,we have built a temple on the river Svratka on the outskirts of Brno. With Lucie,we have started our HYDROTHERAPY project first in the spring 2022 there, then followed into summer pleasures on the Štvanice river island on Vltava (Moldau). But my vivid relationship with rivers started when I was 5yo and my father first took me ‘on the river’.Every summer then I spent my regular week getting to know local rivers (Lužnice,Morava,Berounka,Vltava…) from either a raft and later a canoe, living in a tent, eating from the fire.It is good to remind myself that the way some things transform so we can share them with others is an alchemy. In 2024 I was also on an invitation of @lamioideae ,Alyssa Dillard and @krakcentar in Bosnia, lamenting and serenading with the most gorgeous, clear & cold Una close to Serbian borders, collecting mint for my hydro-distilling practice that I did in a social housing at Broumarská on an invitation of @institute_of_anxiety & @festivalm3 for the first time. I am more and more wary of connecting superficially my political activism, healing and art,for each of them require something else.Showing up for clients carries different responsibilities than being an artist tapping into my ‘what if’ imagination and my sense of an erotic self & being a vocal lil troublemaker-lover questioning what world will the future inherit is a different role overall, at least in this world&the (current) gravitational pull (politically). Despite my deliberate decision to be more mindful about that, the life force and heart and mind I pour into all those is the same, the same fire, the same river, the same study of love/desire/rage/care & a desire to grow, to give,to never stop unfolding, like a ribbon of a river or our spiralic heart-vortex. I wish rest&play4all!!! Artists tagged in slides.🧚🏼‍♀️
