Sessions are customized to suit your needs - the treatment always meets you where you're at.
During sessions, we discuss together how you're thinking/feeling, where is your body today (good question, right?), briefly tapping into physical, emotional, and mental states. You lie down on the table, and we progressively explore your movement capabilities, identifying any blockages, and working on helping your body overcome tensions found along the way.
The body responds to these movement patterns quite immediately. We are made for moving, for thinking/feeling movement as organic, "easy", effortless. This initiates a unique and transformative journey of self-discovery, in turn providing an intensive learning and deep healing process.

Ilan Lev Method Advanced Course. First of three weeks. I don’t know what to say. The more I bend, the more I fly. The first thing I saw when I arrived to @ilanlevinternational was the view from the first slide. Wow. I was pretty shut down. You work with the body and you think you’re doing the work. This was a reminder, to unfold, to lean, to create openings endlessly. Because, hopefully, there’s always more.
Receiving, giving, butterflies and many other creatures. This practice is like no other. I don’t think a text can reach its magic, maybe it’s just about doing it. And then maybe think. Or not. What a glow for the soul. Eternally grateful 🤍 until the next!

Opening the chest isn’t just posture — it changes how you function.
More space for the lungs to expand, improves breathing patterns. Less tension through the diaphragm and ribcage, means better oxygen exchange. Reduced load on the neck and jaw, allows the voice to come through with less effort.
It also shifts how you feel.
Fuller breathing supports nervous system regulation. Sense less reactivity, more steadiness. Less bracing through the front operating system, gives a sense of openness rather than protection. And more space internally, clearer thinking, easier expression. Maybe a little more confident too?
In both Bodywork & Pilates, we work with this on creating conditions for the body to breathe, support, and regulate itself.
Taking up space, in this sense, is physiological and psychological.
And your system responds to it.

Challenge your body by training with more resistance and repeating exercises for longer periods. Your muscles may then shake a little, which is a sign that new connections are being formed.
