TWhip is back. š
October 2019 was the last @osbsupermoto race and also the last time I rode a supermoto until yesterday. The set up still isnāt āproperā because weāre running stock brakes and screwed the clickers in on the off road suspension; but I didnāt realize how much I missed supermoto over the last 5 years.. Iāve tried motocross, Iāve tried cross country, I even bought flat track wheels and suspension but nothing has been as much fun as getting back to my roots and putting street wheels on my dirtbike and spinning laps around @oklahomamotorsportscomplex_ . Iād love to ride more supermoto but I need a tire sponsor before I start selling my wifeās jewelry for tires! š¤£š¤£ It took a few laps to remember what I was doing but with some work I think I could get the speed back šš¤
We bought a house! š

North American Supermoto Shootout 2025 by @spi_media_core ! @getnass brought riders from all over the US & Canada to the plains of Amarillo, Texas and @amarillokartcomplex .
Friday practice started out with a big scare for me on lap 1, cold tires and a green track had me swapping sideways so it took a while to gain confidence with the amount of traction there was.
Saturday morning was 15 minute Qualifying where I ended up P3 overall and P2 for Heat 1. I got a decent start in the Heat but ultimately ended up 2nd coming through turn 1, I tried to latch onto the leader and in the last turn of Lap 1 he tucked the front end and crashed. I tried to put my head down and build a gap while he was coming through traffic but I donāt think I took a breath for 2 laps. My plan worked out and I pulled of the Heat 1 win, and had the faster overall race time by hundredths of a second, this put me P1 for Sundays Motos.
Moto 1 I pulled the holeshot and lead for about half the race, I knew the guys behind me had more speed but it was a hard track to make passes. Bronson passed me and a couple laps later so did Charlie, I stayed on Charlieās wheel until he made a mistake with 2 laps to go. I passed Charlie back for P2 and finished a few seconds behind Bronson. Moto 2 I got another holeshot and lead about half the race, Bronson got by me going into the dirt and I tried to stay close to him. He stalled in the dirt a couple laps after and I was able to get back into the lead. A couple laps later Bronson got by me coming out of turn 2 with 2 laps to go, I stayed right behind him but was never able to make a move and finished P2. Happy to be leaving with a podium and some good racing, canāt wait to see the GoPro footage on the @smrmagazine page!
Happy Anniversary to the one and only @parris.wiley . Another year of life with my favorite person, racing manager, road trip partner, cycling buddy, and book lover. Life wouldnāt be possible without you. Excited to see what we accomplish in the next year! š«¶š»

This was my first weekend with the @ajax405raceteam Husqvarna and it couldnāt have went better. Qualified on pole then backed it up with a 1-1 in the motos. The bike handled like a dream and I didnāt have to touch a clicker all weekend. Now the prep starts for @getnass in Amarillo. @parris.wiley kept the program running like a well oiled machine.
@motocutzmx had the bike looking sick and @alpinestarsmx had me looking faster than I actually am!
Q1 photos.
Spent quality time with quality people and experienced new places. Took my toolbox to most of the GT Arenacross series with the @ajax405raceteam . Stopped at many bookstores with @parris.wiley . Started racing the decades class with GPXC and having fun riding my dirtbike. Won an overall in a muddy XC race from the 5th row. (Not many people showed up) Put my Flat Track set up on and rode my GasGas for the first time in 6 months. Enjoy the moments and learn something anytime you can. āš»š«¶š»
Happy Valentines Day @parris.wiley , you spin my world right āround. Making memories with you is my favorite thing to do from book stores to race tracks all over the country. Hereās to many more places and adventures!
North American Supermoto Shootout 2024..
I hope youāre sitting down because this might be quite the read. Hereās my weekend recap from @getnass :
Saturday Morning timed practice was the first time Iāve been in a race setting on a Supermoto bike since October 2019, and also the first time I had ridden the new @ajaxmotorsports@gasgasusa MC250f.
My lap time put me second on the grid for the heat race; right off the start I got my front end chopped off pretty aggressively which set me back from where I wanted to start the race. I made my way into 3rd on the first lap but the leaders were already a few seconds out front. I settled into a groove around the 1/2 way mark and started pushing towards the front. At the finish line @simpinsamp had me by .066 seconds.
Sunday morning warmup Butters and I spun some laps together and I saw some of his lines in the dirt section that would help me for the mains, I felt like I hopped in a Time Machine and went back 10 years ripping around with the 109.
1st moto the lights went out quick and I pulled a pretty solid holeshot and tried to focus on hitting my marks but I just had a little too much self preservation, Charlie and I went off the single in the back of the dirt section bar to bar on the throttle stops and I got pushed off the outside of the track, I hopped back on the track and tried to latch on to his wheel but just didnāt quite have the pace he did in the dirt. It was sprinkling during the majority of our moto but luckily the big rain held out and I finished in 2nd a couple seconds behind Charlie.
Then the rain came⦠we had a 2 hour rain delay with hopes we could let the storm pass and race once the track was wet but the rain had stopped, in typical Oklahoma fashion the wind started blowing and the rain never stopped.
I brought rain tires with me but they are the same rain tires I ran in 2015 when I was still racing the AMA series. @stevieo728 gave me a set of newer rain tires and also tire warmers so I wouldnāt have any excuses for moto 2.
Moto 2 I pulled another holeshot but havenāt ridden wet pavement in around 6 years. (Continued in comments)
Happy Anniversary @parris.wiley . 2 years down and the rest of our lives to go. We have been through so much together and it has done nothing but drive us closer to each other. In the last year we have both gotten pretty into cycling and the joys that we get from catching a sunset ride or burning out the anger from the work week and I wouldnāt want to share those moments with anyone else. I canāt wait to see what all life throws at us in the next year, because with you anything is possible.
I love you @parris.wiley .
