🇨🇦🔥 Race Report – Texas 2025 🔥🇺🇸
What can I say about the track… wow! 🏁 The layout was incredible, and the dirt section 👌 — especially knowing it was built in record time!
After a 35-hour drive for this American-Canadian national event, it wasn’t easy to arrive rested and ready to perform. But from the very first practice day, I felt confident and comfortable right away — things were looking good for qualifying the next day. 💪
Day 2 – timed Qualifying
I finished 2nd in my “B” group during time qualifying, which placed me 4th on the grid for the qualifying race.
Qualifying Race:
Starting from the inside of the first corner wasn’t the ideal line… and starts aren’t exactly my strongest point 😅.
I found myself in 5th until mid-race, then pulled off a great braking pass on the asphalt section and built a comfortable gap. Result: 4th place — ready for the 2 main races that counted for the weekend’s points.
Day 3 – Race Day
Morning practice went well, still confident, even though a bit of nervesity were kicking in.
👉 Race 1: Decent start, I went from 4th to 5th early on, then made a similar braking pass as the day before and quickly built a gap. Finished 4th.
👉 Super Final: Starting 4th again, I dropped to 5th after the start but quickly regained 4th and kept the 3rd-place rider in sight. Unfortunately, a few small mistakes kept me from holding that pace until the end, but I crossed the line in a strong 4th and took 4th overall for the weekend.
A result I’m proud of 💥 against a stacked American and Canadian national field.
