Brennan, our Photo Booth Guru, and James had such a great morning celebrating the success of the annual Akron Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis at the Akron Zoo this past Saturday! 💜
The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is one of the nonprofit organizations we have proudly partnered with the longest, and this mission is especially close to our hearts. Our Behind-The-Scenes Boss, Mylee Bosi, has battled Cystic Fibrosis every single day of her life.
CF is a progressive genetic disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system. For Mylee, it means hours of treatments, countless medications, hospital stays, breathing machines, and fighting every day to protect the lung function she has left. Right now, Mylee is waiting for a double lung transplant — a reality that brings both hope and uncertainty every single day.
Because of that, Great Strides is so much more than just a walk to us. It is personal. It is about fighting for longer, healthier lives for people living with CF and continuing to fund the research that has already changed so many lives.
