Goodbye 2025! I know it wasn't all great for everyone, but I had a lot to be thankful for this year.
I built a sauna, went to France with my family, played a LOT of trumpet in a LOT of places with my friends, caught a lot of salmon in Alaska, went to weddings, recorded my friends, worked on my new vineyard, mixed and released an improvised record, released a live record, made cider from the apple tree in @aubrey_en_croute and my backyard, settled into our new home with our pup Howie...and much more.

It’s out! The second volume of @scottflynnmusic and my 2022 release “Many Moons” is available to stream on all platforms now. It’s a fully improvised album featuring @eswoodle on drums, @helsmer_stuttle on piano, @markhunterrrr on bass, engineered by @levibeng , mixed by me, and mastered by Ed Brooks @resonantmastering .
If you want a winter night in, might I recommend to cozy up by a fire and let this record be the soundscape. It’s ethereal, spontaneous, lush, raw and just a pretty refreshing listen I think. Appreciate you checking it out!

After 6 years owning this rare gem of a houseboat on Lake Union, it’s time to sell! I will miss it.

Following up on my last post about our studio, this is upright piano from a forthcoming release I’m working on. Not sure how it translates through an iPhone recording the monitors, but a great sounding upright I’d say!
