It was such a privilege to see Presenting History: Testing Translation at the opening of The British Pavilion and to be with so many friends as we celebrated this special moment.
Massive congratulations to @lubainapics for your beautiful and poetic exhibition full of resonance and conversations, love and hope, and a list of questions that we all need to carry with us. And @magda_stawarska for your fabulous soundscape which carried us through the pavilion and into the paintings.

I’m delighted to have one of my works currently on display alongside notable women printmakers in the Women in Print edition at Allan Bank, Grasmere.
The exhibition brings together artists connected with ArtLab Contemporary Print Studio and supports the Women in Print Residency Programme.
All works in the exhibition are available for purchase, with proceeds helping to support future residency opportunities for artists.
If you're in the Lake District, do stop by Allan Bank to see the show. The show continues till 01st, July 2026.
More information about the event can be found via the link in bio, and details about the residency programme are available on the ArtLab Contemporary Print Studio website.

Highlights
1. Raintree I, 2026 by Cassy Oliphant @cassyoliphant
(For Kung Kung)
Cyanotype on cotton.
2. Kaji, 2025 - 2026 by Tracy Hill @tchill80
Kaji is a large woodblock print installation of a resonance pattern between lake stones and water.
Lake water and tusche were mixed on the lake side and placed in a dish with a lake stone. The wind and weather then combined to move the drawing ink until the pigment settled into a rhythmic trace of the day's conditions. These drawings were recorded as photographs each day and later reinterpreted as laser cut woodblock prints.
Using a QR code provided in the gallery, you are able to activate the printed panels with your phone or tablet.
The image is animated with the rhythms created. Captured from a sound recording of the wind on top of Malla overlooking Lake Kilpisjärvi.
3. Mis-interpretation - there are other Narratives... 2025 by Tony Humbleyard
The overuse of signage and interpretation boards limits our understanding and experience of place.
The fierce urgency of imagination in an increasingly corporate world.
Scripted places: places which exclude, direct, interpret, police, construct and organise our responses.
'Dissident voices echo in the wind, an invocation of the sacred places, where Ocean touches Land'

4. Winter Blues, 2025 by Richard Nicholls @richardnicholls.uk
Winter trees reimagined on Polaroid instant film. Monochrome files have been split-toned blue in the shadow areas and then printed on colour iType film using a Polaroid Lab.
It was an absolute pleasure to welcome @anitataylor_ to the studios to begin her #womeninprintresidency
We had a fabulous day exploring dynamic mark making and Screenprint.
Can't wait to see where this leads.
