@lubainapics officially opened her exhibition #PresentingHistory:TestingTranslation at The British Pavilion as part of 61st International Art Exhibition at La Biennale di Venezia.
We were honoured to stand alongside the many many other individuals who filled the avenue in front of the British Pavilion to show their love and appreciation.

Congratulations to Lubaina Himid RA CBE, who is representing the UK at the 61st Venice Biennale with a major solo exhibition of new work called ‘Predicting History: Testing Translation’, opening this week 💫
Seen here speaking at our Women in Print panel in 2024, Lubaina & Magda Stawaska, who has collaborated on a sound scape for the Biennale presentation, have both been generous champions of the Fair as founding artists in the groundbreaking initiative, ArtLab Women in Print Project, that works with artists to expand their practice through original print - and also awards an exhibiting Imprint artist an annual residency opportunity!
Their individual editions, along with the full portfolio of women artists so far, was launched at our Fair in 2025 where they also spoke about the role of print in their work with Arts Writer and Contributing Arts Editor at The World of Interiors, Holly EJ Black @hollyejblack

We really enjoyed ourselves this weekend at the panel discussion and launch of the Women in Print Exhibition alongside @karendaviesartist solo show and #gwynethalbandavies exhibition. #WomenInPrintEditions is a collection of original limited edition artworks for sale by leading female artists created through the #womeninprintresidency
Each year up to 4 artists are invited to participate in a two week residency which offers women artists at all stages of their career the time, skills and resources to test new ideas, using print as part of an expanded practice.
Following the residency, each artist is invited to produce a limited edition print, one print from each edition is donated to the ACPS collection and the remaining edition is available for sale.
Sales of these unique editions support future residencies.

#notesonrest is now on show in Coleridge's former bedroom, weaving charcoal drawings, etchings, and handwritten notes into a quiet reflection on growth, fragility, care, and recovery.

Informed by ecology, geology, culture, and politics, this exhibition brings together new works by three artists, created through entangled approaches to research undertaken in Kilpisjarvi, Northern Finland in 2024.
The gallery is open 11-4 on Thursday, Friday absolutely Saturday until April 12th.

This is one of the first prints I've made during a fellowship at @artlabcps and Claylab at UCLan exploring the overlaps and spaces between ceramics and print.
It's so exciting to be back working in printmaking...the last time I was in a print studio was 2022 when I began an MFA at the Slade School of Art and had to leave because of my health. It's been especially lovely to be working alongside @_nicola_ellis_ again during her AA2A residency and to meet and connect with other artists working here.
My time in ceramics has been more recent after an amazing month-long residency at the end of last year at the @scottishsculptureworkshop and the experiments I was making then using clay, paper, weaving, collage, aluminium, and ceramics(!) are feeding into the work I am developing now.
