My second feature film project BEAST (working title) was awarded the 2024 “Wild Futures: Art, Culture, Impact” by @creative_capital
In the professional realm this was a big achievement for me this year. Sharing the video played during the Creative Capital Carnival this summer. I invite you to watch the other artists’ videos on the Creative Capital’s YouTube. The cohort blew my mind away and I return to their projects when I need a little hope.
Here’s to more rewrites of BEAST’s script in 2025 and hopefully more good news for the film’s development.

HOOKER 2 – Directed by Christina BeckChristina Beck brings her raw, authentic voice as a director, actor, and writer—her films often explore female identity, survival, and resilience in edgy, uncompromising ways.
SORRY NOT SORRY – Directed by Monique SorgenA biting satire about relationships and revenge, showcasing Monique Sorgen’s witty and bold approach to storytelling.
MEDITATIONS ON FERTILITY – Directed by Tchaiko Omawale poetic, deeply personal short by Tchaiko Omawale (Solace), reflecting her interest in stories of identity, spirituality, and the body.
Plus a slate of short films by PCC student filmmakers.
