Dans ma famille, on est gros… En surpoids comme on dit au journal télé. Mon père est gras, mon grand frère aussi. Pas ma mère. Elle est toute fine. Elle, elle est belle...Quand j’étais petite, moi aussi j’étais une Princesse. Et puis, d’un coup, j’ai enflé. Chez moi, tout le monde s’en fiche, on s’aime. Et pour mon père, je serai toujours sa petite Princesse.
MAIS AU LYCÉE, la différence, c’est pas leur truc. Sauf quand on a une grande bouche ou des poings qui cognent.

In my family, we’re fat… “Overweight,” as they say on the news.
My dad is chubby, my older brother too. Not my mom. She’s really slim. She’s beautiful…When I was little, I was a Princess too. And then, all of a sudden, I puffed up. At home, no one cares — we love each other. And to my dad, I’ll always be his little Princess.
BUT IN HIGH SCHOOL, being different is not their thing.
Unless you’ve got a big mouth or fists that hit hard.
