We are pleased to announce a limited edition print by Timothy Biskup in support of Choose Love. Available from May 21 for 5 days only and then never again. The amount sold determines the edition number. 🖼️ Timothy Biskup Spring Collection ‘21 #4, 2026 Archival Pigment Print 24 x 18 in Signed and numbered by the artist 🗓 21 May - 26 May ⏰ 6 PM BST - 6 PM BST (London) / 1PM EDT - 1PM EDT (NYC) 📪 International Shipping LINK IN BIO @chooselove Photo by Devin Sarno — Timothy Biskup (b. 1967, Santa Monica, CA) is a Southern California artist whose expansive practice spans painting, sculpture, printmaking, music, and design. After studying fine art at Otis/Parsons and sharpening his technical approach through animation and illustration, Biskup emerged as one of the defining voices of late-90s and early-2000s pop-surrealism and contemporary psychedelic art. His vibrant visual language — dense with geometry, symbolic figures, and emotionally charged color — continues to evolve across decades of experimentation. From hosting underground live art auctions in Los Angeles in 1999 to co-founding GAMA-GO and creating work for Oh Yeah! Cartoons and Adult Swim, Biskup has consistently blurred the boundaries between fine art, subculture, and design. In 2017, he opened Face Guts, an artist-run gallery and project space in Glassell Park, Los Angeles, further cementing his role as both artist and community-builder. His 2019 retrospective monograph/autobiography Tree of Life, published by Chronicle Chroma, traces the evolution of a practice celebrated for its “punk rock energy,” Baroque Modernist sensibility, and deeply personal exploration of fear, loss, transformation, and memory. More recently, Biskup presented Graphite Memory with MOCA in Los Angeles, showcasing the hypnotic live drawing process that continues to captivate audiences today.

Opening Tonight (Saturday 3/28) 5-8pm Dream House Charcoal Drawings by @timothy_lamb_art March 28 - April 25th Opening Reception: Sat. March 28, 5-9pm @face.guts Gallery 4136 Verdugo Rd Los Angeles CA 90065 There is something going on beneath these 19 drawings that is beyond words. An attention to the mood of things. A kind of deep looking where you spend very little time telling yourself that what you’re seeing is a tree or a mountain or a broken down old barn. They have the feeling of looking into a crypt or staring at an oncoming tsunami. They embody moments of clarity, tears, heartache and bliss. When I tell you that Timothy and his wife, Kelli, lost their dream house in the Eaton Canyon fire you’ll see the whole picture. I knew about their loss before I saw this work. So when I saw it I knew what it was. It brought me back to the panicked moments where my family grabbed a few things and drove away. Smelling the smoke, and seeing a red horizon in a place where it couldn’t be the sunset. These drawings don’t feel stuck in fear and sadness, though. They read as a form of recovery to me. This kind of deep looking and feeling leads to healing and a desire to rebuild what is lost. -Tim Biskup

99 Cents FiNaL 2 Daze... Saturday & Sunday, 12-6pm And then we are outta here! 6121 Wilshire Blvd, Los Angeles. Barry McGee straight up hijacked the historic Miracle Mile 99¢ store on Wilshire and turned it into a 20,000 sq ft art explosion. 200+ artists, aisles of beautiful chaos, and a 99¢ store possessed by creativity and artistic mayhem Honestly, we have no idea how we pulled this off . Huge love to the Hole crew + the building team for making the impossible happen. Come get lost in the beautiful creative madness on our final two days /exhibitions/la-barry-99cent For listing of all artists as far as we know. Too many to personally thank and acknowledge in an insta post. #99cents #barrymcgee #losangeles #art #andreasgursky

I’ve been a fan of #barrymcgee since before my art career got started in the late 90s. He’s a force of creation like no other. Dedicated to community uplift in a way that has inspired everything I’ve done. I’m grateful to be included in this absolutely epic event of a group show. So many friends!!! Thanks to @theholenyc @thealbertreyes @kathy__grayson ! Go see it if you can! It’s up until the end of February.
