The heart of the Annual Perrin Pick'em Pigskin Prognostication Contest is the shared experience—whether you're a football fanatic or just along for the fun. This year’s app redesign puts usability front and center, with everything you need to dive into the action: seamless login, intuitive picks, live leaderboards and detailed career stats. Created with love and care by my brother and me over the past year, this app is more than a tool—it’s a connection point for our family. Twenty-two family members. One trophy. Countless memories. #webdesign #digitaldesign #website #uiux #webdevelopment #websitedesign #uidesign #uxdesign

What started as a paper ballot on a family ski trip in 1997 has evolved into something truly special. The Annual Perrin Pick'em Pigskin Prognostication Contest is more than a game—it’s about connection and friendly competition. This year, my brother and I collaborated to bring a fresh logo and modernized interface to life, honoring our tradition while looking to the future. From ages 10 to 93, every family member has a chance to compete, connect and carry on the legacy. #webdesign #digitaldesign #website #uiux #webdevelopment #websitedesign #uidesign #uxdesign

Since 1997, our family has come together each college football bowl season for some friendly competition. The Annual Perrin Pick'em Pigskin Prognostication Contest has always been about more than football—it's about tradition, connection and a bit of spirited rivalry. This year, after countless hours of design and development by my brother and me, we’re excited to share a completely revamped web app. Making your picks is now easier than ever. Log in, choose your winners before kickoff, and check back often to see how you’re stacking up on the leaderboard. #uiux #webdesign #digitaldesign #digitaltool #productdesign #uidesign #uxdesign #designinnovation

It was a dream making so many different products for the Initiation Kit for The Distinguished Order of Overthinkers. We worked hard to make all the pieces have different design elements but still similar enough to be cohesive. We created a pocket notebook, challenge coin, carpenter pencil, pink eraser, matchbook, button, stickers, magnet and a membership card all bundled in a branded box, packaged inside a poly mailer. These are few of my favorite elements.

This is a set of stickers that I got to create for The Distinguished Order of Overthinkers, the 2023 Taproot Holiday Gift. We kicked around so many good tagline and sayings that it only made sense to use all of them.

Without fail, our annual Taproot holiday gift is hands down a highlight of my year. It's something we all eagerly anticipate, getting to put our heads together for a full team effort. We can't help but feel a sense of pride as we share these gifts with our clients and friends as it's the perfect way to wrap up each year. For this year’s gift, we created our own secret society and initiated all of our clients and friends with a starter kit. While exploring many directions for the club, we wanted to create a membership that was inclusive enough for all types of work and careers but also exclusive enough that only the finest thinkers around could appreciate. So that led us down the path to the group now know as The Distinguished Order of Overthinkers. The Order is a membership organization composed of remarkably indecisive and generally uncertain individuals. When everyone else has resigned their efforts, either due to weariness or a sense of finality, Overthinkers are just getting started.

One of my favorite sports memorabilia pieces is a set of two unused Milwaukee Braves tickets from the early 60s. Since today is the @braves home opener, I thought it would be cool to reimagine that ticket design for today's team. I love the ease of digital tickets but the paper tickets from back in the day are a true work of art.

More from Real Thread. This is the product builder view. The main goal was to keep products, artwork and the product preview all on one screen for an easy and simplified user flow. Their competitors have so many steps and screens you have to click through to get from product selection to checkout. This approach reduced those clicks significantly.

Working on Real Thread's ever-evolving product builder is always a fun and enjoyable challenge. The ease and success of the customer experience can make or break their sales. That's why they are always striving to improve and learn from their users how to make a superior shopping experience. These elements are from early iterations of the design. Since, Real Thread has rebranded and we're working through a new look and user flow. But ultimately these elements has lead us to what we are working on now. Good stuff to come.

Our family has had so much fun raising chickens this past year. The eggs have been delicious and the kids have been a big help in caring for the birds. We would always write a note to go with the eggs when we shared with family and friends, so it was time to upgrade that process with a little branded card 🐔

I'm proud and excited to share the new Community Leadership Academy website. This was a fun labor of love. Ever since our kids started attending there 4 years ago, I've wanted to help with the site and make it truly reflect the quality and caliber of the school. Our family loves this place. It's so encouraging to be part of a community where the teachers, staff, students and parents truly love Jesus and make him a priority each day. Check it out at: clatallahassee.org
