From the earliest days of Tattoo Punks, we’ve dreamed of an event. A weekend for Tattoo Punks, by Tattoo Punks. A place and time for the community to get together, a giant family reunion. And what better place to start this new tradition than on the shore of the Susquehanna River, nestled within the rolling Appachalian Mountains, my hometown of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania–a city that has never seen anything like this before!

A mainstay of Philadelphia’s radical community since 1976, we’re pleased to bring The Wooden Shoe to Tattoo Punks: the Fest! Focusing on themes like anarchism, social justice, feminism, and radical history, they’re bringing their spread of books, pins, and patches to the floor in Harrisburg on May 16 & 17.
Back on the stage at Tattoo Punks: the Fest, we’re excited to welcome Boston’s Cinderblock! They’ve been taking some time off but are excited to hit the basement for Sunday’s matinee. Check them out in Harrisburg on May 17 before they hit the stage with Major Accident in Brooklyn later this month.

From the unfriendly streets of Philly, we’re excited to bring The Slads to the Tattoo Punks stage on Saturday night! Are they Oi!? Are they punk? Are they Rock n Roll? All of the above–they’re Slads, and they’ll be fresh off another European tour and bringing copies of their new split 7” with Japan’s Dryacid. This weekend only, take the opportunity to really crank things up a notch and get tattooed by a Slad: find Bad Mizz on the Fest floor.
