A 26-year tattoo lifer and owner of Death or Glory Tattoo in Davis, California, Phil has built his career on versatility, passion, and never selling out. From his bold blackwork to standout animal portraits, he’s mastered it all while staying true to his punk roots.
Phil’s journey into tattooing started in a high school storage closet—literally. One day he walked in on a friend hiding from the teacher during art class, tattooing another friend, and instantly knew: this was it. Tattooing meant he could make a living, stay punk, and never change who he was. Since then, he’s traveled the world, tattooing up and down the west coast, across Europe, and beyond!
AND HE’S NOT JUST BRINGING HIS TATTOO MACHINE TO TATTOO PUNKS THE FEST —HE’S BRINGING ANCIENT RAGE!
