In MIRROW girl and IF I HAD YOUR HAIR, TATI transforms everyday materials: mirrors, yarns and hair-like threads — into acts of confrontation and connection.
MIRROW girl dresses a mirror in hand-knitted lingerie, turning reflection into a self-portrait of desire, discomfort, and power. The knitted pieces are imperfect, handmade and unapologetically visible, reclaiming intimate textiles as objects of agency rather than shame.
IF I HAD YOUR HAIR moves beyond the mirror: braids of intertwined strands, knitted in soft and neon threads, carry memory, longing and kinship. Hair becomes language, a material that links women through gesture, touch and shared identity.
Both works examine how intimacy, care and tenderness can also be radical: challenging who holds power over visibility, the body and the gaze.
Through these projects, TATI asks us to reconsider what is private, what can be reclaimed, and what happens when softness refuses to apologize. These works are a meditation on visibility, vulnerability and the ways bodies assert themselves through material, craft and shared histories.

What if your old garments could become something entirely new? In this workshop, you’ll transform existing textiles into expressive, textured surfaces using wool and yarn.
Through layering, felting, and intuitive experimentation, you’ll explore how fibres can create depth, structure, and new material qualities. Whether working directly on a garment or a separate fabric, felting becomes a tool for both subtle repair and bold transformation.
Guided by @tati_things_ , you’ll develop your own textile piece while discovering reuse as a creative practice, open, playful, and full of unexpected results.
Who is the workshop for? Anyone curious about textiles, upcycling, and hands-on experimentation. No experience needed.
