Can’t believe it has been a year since @andthroughtheportalwego had its world premiere at the @gigharborfilm . Thank you to all our friends who came out to support! Our Q&A was moderated by @gnattilly of @natalieandtara who also awarded @taterc with his Best Actor award, making that first festival unforgettable. Since then the film has launched a journey that has taken us from the San Francisco to England and back, with festivals #10 (@mysticfilmfest ), #11 (@yofifest ), and #12 (@queensworldfilmfest ) still ahead.

Holy moly. Epic Universe certainly lives up to its name. I’ve been following along with the construction of this park for years, and didn’t think I’d be able to visit until years after it opened. So getting to check two Universal parks off on their opening year felt pretty special.
And this park… y’all. Walking into Mario World left me speechless. Monsters Unchained is one of the best theme park attractions. And Stardust Racers is one of my new favorite coasters.
Epic Universe focuses on bringing putting the park in theme park, with more restaurants, bars and other experiences alongside attractions. There is truly something for everyone. I can’t wait to see what they do next.

Cedar Point with The Queens. Getting out of the van after an 8 hour car ride and sprinting to Top Thrill 2 for a train takeover with such a great group of people was a new core memory (as @mikeysensei put it). What an incredible weekend.
