Not all d/Deaf/hard of hearing people communicate using sign, just as some don’t use their voice at all and many rely on lip reading !
That said if everyone knew the basic British Sign Language Alphabet, you never know who you might help one day with fingerspelling!

Deaf is a spectrum. There are many different types of hearing loss. I personally have a “Cookie Bite” hearing loss and struggle hearing the lower register and pitches. I also have Tinnitus which gets louder if I’m stressed or anxious. Ironically, it’s a low pitched hum that I “hear!”

Accepting my hearing loss has been a long journey and was always seen as a negative. I’ve experienced many negative reactions from others and also from myself! I can’t tell you all the amount of doors I have had to bang on over the years to be seen as an artist.
So now on a positive note, I’m overjoyed to be supported by the wonderful humans @flpmanagement who have my back or (ears?!) no matter what! Thank you team! 🤟❤️💃🏻
