I made a stop at Manzanar Relocation Camp recently. I drove by a baseball field in the camp. Same game we play today. They also loved and played even inside the camp. Now the number one player in MLB is Japanese.
Think about that.
Not just Japanese but there are plenty of MLB players from Latin America and around the world.
The world has changed in many ways since then. But unfortunately also remain the same.
We must not forget these mistakes made in the past. People who looked like me were sent here just because of their ethnicity. Not because of their character. Not because of a crime they committed. Just because they were Japanese descent.
Today the same is happening in this world.
Many things like sports and love for cars transcends race and religion. We are all the same in the end.
Now that I got to interview Maz Fawaz from @singervehicledesign , I remembered I asked this question to Masa and Katsu from @builtbylegends , a while ago.
