The Millennium Jade Built By Legends R34 currently in progress is fitted with @garage_yoshida signature sound and heat-resistant lightweight insulation sheets.
While not a performance product in the traditional sense, this is a crucial element of every build—surpassing OEM insulation in every aspect. By utilizing the latest materials and technology, these sheets are both lighter and significantly more efficient.
Developed in collaboration with Daiko Rubber, a renowned Japanese rubber manufacturer, each set is precision pre-cut to perfectly match every Skyline model. By reducing exterior noise, vibration, and heat entering the cabin, the result is a more refined driving environment, improving AC efficiency while allowing the exhaust note to be experienced more clearly from within.
These insulation sheets come as standard on all Built By Legends vehicles, as well as our Full Restoration programs.

The strut towers on this R34, currently undergoing our Bare Chassis Restoration Program, are now carefully removed and will be replaced with newly engineered, high strength steel strut towers by @garage_yoshida which exceeds OEM spec.
Corrosion in these areas is typically caused by water ingress through the seals beneath the struts, originating from the wheel housing. While this particular example shows only moderate rust (we’ve encountered far worse), it clearly illustrates the vulnerability of this critical structural area. These panels are responsible for directly transferring suspension loads into the chassis—any compromise here significantly affects overall rigidity and integrity.
This is precisely why the Garage Yoshida Strut Tower Panel is installed as a standard component in all Built By Legends restomods, as well as within our Bare Chassis Restoration Program.
