Marhaba everyone, my name is Tarek and I am kicking off my cooking journey through @tartak.cooks .
Tartak is not just a nickname of mine, but it also means something that is hard to explain in one word in English, but let’s say it’s the noise you make in the kitchen from pots and cutlery.
Syrian in origin but with a nomad soul, an immigrant currently based in Berlin, who admires travelling and exploring food cultures. Appreciating the ancestors’ traditions and innovations, mixing flavours that make food not just for survival, but for pleasure.
