Last post I promise... FINALLY after two years in the making having deferred due to the terrible news of my brilliant brother Sean passing I got to run The London Marathon. It wasn't fast... a mediocre 4hrs 41 mins BUT as a part time 5km -er I have to say the relief and smugness is bountiful! A huge thanks to @onehandedrunner , Paula my beautiful friend and her team at @camino_ultra for coaching the F out of me and getting me through. Paula you are a diamond! And to all my epic family and friends who came in the day to cheer me on... it made the difference! So happy to have been able to do my this... thanks for both the spots @macmillancancer and to all those INCREDIBLE people that have helped raise over £6500!!!! I am in awe! Too many years to mention doubled over laughing, whispering secrets and shedding tears last night my beautiful best friend @jokillingley finally got her "happy ever after" at her 50th Birthday bash which secretly turned into a ding dong of a surprise wedding... so very very proud and happy for you and Andrew... we love you very much and my gorgeous goddaughters (to me you are both the same @b.ertie_ and @tillykillingley ) looked incredible... brimming with love xxx

Sadly our beautiful brother Sean passed away yesterday after warrior efforts to beat his second cancer diagnosis. We were so proud of him smashing through his first battle with Oesophagus cancer and we all thought he was free of this horrendous disease. We were stunned with his aggressive brain cancer diagnosis just over a month ago and realised that this time round was serious and made his first time look like a "taster dose". His last few days were spent with his amazing wife Nicky Perry never leaving his side and his daughter Audrey, our mum, myself and my sister all spent precious time holding his hand and telling him much he meant to us.
Sean had always hinted at how popular was in his home city NYC... he gushed of his West Village world and said he felt like a celebrity everyday... to which Scarlett and I would roll our eyes .... what unfolded during our last ten days with Sean was overwhelming love and tenderness. Waves of his closest and dearest friends came to show their love, all had a story of Sean's endless kindness... we had no idea! We were touched at how truly loved he was... seeing big burly men, crying, kissing and holding his hand were tender moments I will never forget.
Sean, you lit up the room, you were the best big brother... with just the right amount of brotherly torment, shouty protectiveness and hilarious family "in" jokes... we love you forever and couldn't be prouder. I think your brightness burnt so brightly... it couldn't sustain more than the truly lived 56 years you spent on this earth. Wish for just one more day... love you so xxxx
So sad to say that I am hanging up my runners for this @londonmarathon as I have chosen to stay with my brother in NYC for one more day. The poor love is fighting hard against Brain Cancer but doesn't have long so have chosen to be here for a little longer.
Macmillan Cancer charity have kindly offered me a place for the 2024 marathon and am hoping that the wonderful, amazing people that have helped me raise over £5000 will choose to support me next year. I am truly grateful and overwhelmed by people's kindness at this time.

As some of you beautiful lot might already know I am endeavouring to run the 2023 London Marathon.😔🫣🫢My amazing brother beat cancer last year and my intention was to try to say thank you in some way ... sadly we have recently heard that he has developed Stage 4 Brain Cancer and is fighting again! This makes my little attempt at this challenge even more meaningful. Words do not express how desperate we feel but love and positivity is the only way... so... please... if you can give some cash to my cause I'd be truly grateful.
