For World Children’s Day, we supported @kidogokids , a family-run charity in Kenya that focuses on empowering children and young people with essential tools for a brighter future. This includes alleviating hunger, supplying educational materials, and basic sanitation in vulnerable communities. Kidogo Kids also support a home for abandoned babies, a children’s home, and a safe house for young women and girls.
We have donated to provide a youth support package for 8 young people moving out of the children’s home into independent living. With all the charity’s administrative expenses covered, donations go directly to their vital work with young people and communities in Nairobi’s slums, facing extreme poverty.
During Black History Month we’re celebrating the impact of Black heritage and culture by honouring Black artists who’ve shaped music and driven social change.
From Nina Simone’s powerful civil rights anthems, Bob Marley’s global messages of unity and Frankie Knuckles’ important role in developing house music to Marvin Gaye’s rallying cry in ‘What’s Going On’ and Aretha Franklin’s music embodying Black empowerment and women’s rights, Black musicians have been at the forefront of cultural and social progress and have been at the root of many of today’s popular genres, such as soul, R&B, reggae, jazz, blues, funk, disco, house, techno and hip-hop.
TaP is proud to support incredible artists who continue this legacy and are heavily inspired by Black music and culture, while harnessing their talent and influence as a powerful force for creativity, innovation and positive change in the world.

Making history with accessibility in fashion.
Hair & Care is a London-based non-profit dedicated to making fashion, hair and beauty accessible for blind and low-vision people. We were introduced to Hair & Care through their founder, international hairstylist Anna Cofone, who works with one of TaP Music’s stellar artists, Lana Del Rey.
We love supporting diversity and accessibility, particularly in creative spaces. So we were excited to support Hair & Care on their collaboration with fashion designer Sinéad O’Dwyer at Copenhagen Fashion Week in August, where Lucy Edwards made history as the first blind model to walk the runway with her guide dog, Miss Molly!
The show was made accessible through pre-recorded audio descriptions which the blind and low vision guests, who joined from the Danish Association for the Blind, were able to listen to in real time as the models walked the runway. Guests were also able to feel tactile swatches made from the fabrics used in the collection, to enhance the sensory experience and gain a deeper understanding of the designs.
Hair & Care conducts monthly hair care workshops for blind and low-vision women and girls, with the goal of a more accessible and inclusive hair industry for the sight loss community.
Our thanks to Alberte Nørgaard who gave their time pro-bono.

This year, #WorldMentalHealthDay focuses on mental health in the workplace.
But we know it’s more than just a day. We live in a culture of stress, anxiety and burnout. Life can feel overwhelming.
Talking about mental health can feel hard. But it’s so important because you don’t have to face it alone.
If you’re worried about someone, please check in with them 🖤

Today is World Suicide Prevention Day.
It’s devastating that suicide is one of the leading causes of death for young people, and that 720,000 people worldwide die due to suicide each year.
It can feel uncomfortable talking about this. But we are talking about it because it’s preventable. And it could be the most important conversation we ever have.
Supporting mental health is – and has always been – very close to our heart. We send our love to everyone affected by suicide.
If you’re worried about someone, please talk to them. No one has to struggle on their own. There is help.

In their own words: “This is a complicated crisis and in times like these our principles of impartiality and neutrality are the beating heart of every single action we take. We are not here to take sides. We are not here to measure one life against another. We are here to relieve suffering – and we will continue to do all we can.”
