Gacha, Played me this riddim, I fell in love with it … I was shy to start writing, knowing it was so good I was overwhelmed!
We locked in another date,… I drove around jamaica for a couple of weeks trying to find a melody… an idea, something, at one point I thought maybe I’m no longer a writer..
The riddim was so infectious I was often meditating to it at the rivers. It’s like I heard the sounds of Japan and Jamaica in one. Too sweet to comprehend.
Anyway 2:15am It woke me up and I started singing the first verse .. with the beat playing in my head atp, by the time I came back from the bathroom the song was written in my mind. I then wrote it down in my notes.
