We were honored to share the stage tonight with fellow music "lifers". We appreciate you all for doing and for keeping on doing what you do. Loved all the music we made tonight! Did anybody else feel the turbulence in the air yesterday... the consensus of people I chatted with yesterday all seemed to agree--- there was some powerful energy going around with the summer-like weather, current-events weighing the minds and the pent-up left over emotions of winter seeming to be getting expressed at scale! Bellingham, WA indie rock /jangle pop duo Michael & Virginia (formerly of The Mantles), aka Tangle Map “Cut You in Two (DEMO)” single In the early 00s, it was extremely unusual, at least for me, to buy records by mail order overseas, either due to the risky customs fees or the excessive postage costs and long waiting times. For this reason, I vividly remember the amazing 7″ single from 2009 by Bay Area garage indie pop group The Mantles, later revisited by fellow musician Ty Segall, for the still active Bay Area label Mt. St. Mtn.
