MJD - a life well lived… Our Uncle Mike’s celebration of life was in @woodbinetb yesterday & we all gave him a great send off. Beautiful memorial by Deirdre, Sue, & his kids @melimushrm & @marshalldoyle
So many stories, fun and laughter to remember him by… lovely speeches by some of his many great pals inc Roger Attfield, Davy Moran, Richard Hogan and Ross & I said a few words about our super cool 😎 uncle… James Dean, cowboy cool vibes and loved from Kildare to Kentucky and every in between & around!! The 4 Doyle brothers and Mike was the “baby (pic14)… He moved to 🇨🇦 in his early 20’s and Trained 🏇🏻🏆 last year he was inducted into the Canadian Hall of fame, he was wrapping up his training barn and a week later he unexpectedly died, gone in a flash in December 2025… Remembered fondly by many…
Racing, golf, the beach, the pub and his family & pals… He was very like my dad Paul in many ways ❤️ rest in peace Mike.

Happy 50th David, lovely to celebrate with almost birthday twin Berch & Sinead in @cashelpalace total heaven there, so well looked after and it never feels too busy even when full. Such a gorgeous team. Thank you to Karen, Adriaan and crew… it was hard to leave! Their first 110s - what a step up I’ve come to realize! In awe of all these fab pony riders and their amazing 148 ponies (and especially the mums and dads!). Between boarding school, lots of hockey, the junior cert, and everything else, they are a busy bunch! Eventing is certainly not for the faint-hearted—pass the rescue remedy! But it’s incredible and admirable. Qualified now and heading for @ballindenisk for the CCP2 next week. We’re grateful for every safe round & all the great help and advice we receive, next week brings new challenges (pic 3 no stirrup!) and we respect them all. Great people and wonderful horses, let’s go!! 🙌💪 #eventinglife #eventingireland #eventingpony

I had the absolute pleasure of sharing the stage with the phenomenal @instmiriam at last week's Finding Balance event - what an honour. Listening to her speak about her memoir and her life was truly moving. The way she has navigated life - eight children, grief, loss, love, and everything in between - with such strength, positivity, and a “say yes to life” attitude… it was nothing short of inspiring.
And a big yes to hot water with lemon and Champagne Fridays - because it’s all about balance!!
